Preparing for a Scan

Before we begin scanning, you're going to want to prepare your space first so we can create the best model.

Please ensure the property is beautiful and unchanging from the first scan to the last. Making changes in the middle of scanning often results in alignment issues but can be avoided with a bit of pre-planning.

Are you ready?

• Clean organize and arrange the site

• Hide personal things

• Close doors to areas that you don’t want scanned

• Adjust lighting by turning on all the lights.

• Turn off all fans

• Minimize direct sunlight where possible

• Don’t move anything during a scan.

• Secure pets outside and advise others to spend time in another room while the camera is scanning.
